THE MODERN ARCHITECTURE WORKSHOP PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR IN PARIS
The Modern Workshop Photography Tour is mainly focused on Contemporary architectural achievements related to the contemporary period including the biggest projects of the City.
LOCATIONS FOR THIS WORKSHOP
Louvre’s pyramide is the most universal achievement of this period but there is many locations in Paris regarding the period from last thirty years with brillant architects including Jean Nouvel’s buildings . The main objective for this workshop will be to shoot the main buildings of the most popular facades. We will cover between 10 to 15 locations from this period : Louvre’s pyramid, Pompidou center, library François Mitterand, geode, Arab’s institute, Opera Bastille, Science City, Cartier fondation, Philarmonic center, Fashion City and Louis Vuiton fondation.
WHO IS INTERESTED BY THIS WORKSHOP ?
Beginner, confirmed or professional photographer wishing to conduct maximum of shots with no stress or pain in Paris in a short time and learning/sharing new tips for photography.
INTRODUCTION TO THE SHOOTING
For this workshop we will recommend to shoot with a tripod to produce verticals and horizontal panoramics pictures. For this architectural workshop photography we will pay attention to the distortion optics during shooting to be sure to be able to handle the pictures in post-production with Lightroom or/and photoshop. The use of the RAW mode is recommended for each shooting with bracketing mode and in front of each location we will focus to improve technics and critics according your camera to use bracketing, panoramic, HDR, and Hyperfocal technics with a tripod.

The huge variety of facades will bring the workshop to focus on architectural photography.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
Reflex with one lens or more, between 14mm and 200 mm but we will use mainly light gear with a wide lens. Your gear can be stowed in the topcase of the scooter (51 X 35 X 38 cm – 20 X 13 X 14,9 inch). Your tripod can be placed on the top if you want to bring it anyway.
OPTIONAL MATERIAL REQUIRED FOR THE PARTICIPANT
Remote trigger release or wireless remote controller transmitter/transceiver.
Apps on your phone : Lightrac or Photographer’s Ephemeris, DOFMaster.

Motorcycle helmet and gloves

ALTERNATIVES POSSIBLE DURING THE WORKSHOP
You are free to change the route according to your wishes.The workshop is maintained even if there is rain or snow but the participant can postponed the workshop for another day according to availability of Parisian Clichés. If the service can not be performed the participant will be refunded.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
This private learning workshop has been built to focus on all your requests regarding the optimization of your reflex and the composition of a photograph when shooting for architectural facades. You will adapt new tricks quickly to all the circumstances of shots on locations covered with or without a tripod.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SERVICE
Cafes and drinks offered during the trip. A meal is included in a Parisian restaurant.
Departure is at 10 am from the a meeting point in Paris we will confirm later by email – can be in Paris in front of a specific place or at the bottom of your residence’s location. Return to your desired location.
