GOLDEN HOUR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
During this Golden Hour Workshop you will experience a private workshop to capture the best pictures.
The golden hour, blue hour or magic hour is the time between day and night when the sky fills almost entirely with a darker blue than the sky blue of the day.
This workshop is one of the most popular photography workshops compare to the normal day light photography workshops.
It requires a special care about good time for shooting.
LOCATIONS FOR THIS PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Photographing during the golden hour requires two special attentions.
- the expected time of sunset
- the best location to photograph a specific monument.
We will choose together the best landmarks you want to shoot and we must care about the distance between the locations because the light during blue hour is changing very quickly.
The best locations for a first photographic experience in Paris during the golden hour are located along the Seine and we must focus on 3 or 4 locations.
Of course we can define another locations together.
The best locations along the Seine for shooting during the magic hour.

Between two locations we can move on my MP3 scooter.

To learn or improve the best set up on your camera to shoot the most beautiful landmarks of your choice during the golden hour period in a short time.
INTRODUCTION TO THE SHOOTING
We will pay a special attention to :
- RAW mode with a tripod and remote trigger release (or timer) for all shoots with long exposures
- the settings to shoot in manual mode most of the time
- the composition of the picture.
- ISO setting
- manual mode
- bracketing
- Hyperfocal mode
- Optional : HDR, Timelapse
Details of shooting techniques will be developed with the idea and goal to process your images in RAW mode for future Post-production with leading image editing software such as Lightroom and Photoshop.
THEMES TREATED
The blue hour in town is a great opportunity for the best cityscape pictures.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
Reflex with one lense or more, between 14mm and 200 mm.
The storage of your gear is secured in the topcase of the scooter (51 X 35 X 38 cm – 20 X 13 X 14,9 inch). Your tripod can be placed on the top.
OPTIONAL MATERIAL REQUIRED FOR THE PARTICIPANT
Remote trigger release or wireless remote controller transmitter/transceiver.
We can use the timer if you don’t get.
Filters Neutral Density (ND), external flash.
Some Apps on your phone are really useful to confirm the good angle to catch the magic hour.

ALTERNATIVES POSSIBLE DURING THE WORKSHOP
You are free to change the route according to your wishes.
The workshop is maintained even if there is rain or snow.
The participant can postponed the workshop for another day according to availability of Parisian Clichés.
If the service can not be performed the participant will be refunded.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
You will also adapt new tricks quickly to all the circumstances of shootings on locations covered with a tripod.
WHAT IS IN THE SERVICE
A bottle of water is also available in the top case with your gear.
Departure is mainly around 5 pm or 8pm.
Meeting point in Paris can be in Paris in front of a specific place or at the bottom of your residence’s location.
Return to your desired location.
